Activity & clips
Recent motion and doorbell events, with their recordings, on both devices.
- On iPhone: the Activity tab lists your latest 50 events, grouped by day. Each one is labeled Doorbell, Motion, Person, Vehicle, Package or Animal. Tap one to play its clip.
- On Apple Watch: the Recent section under your cameras shows the latest events. Tap one to play it on your wrist.
“Clip unavailable”
Clips come from Ring’s recordings. If Ring didn’t record an event, or the recording couldn’t be fetched, you’ll see Clip unavailable. Ring only keeps recordings on a Ring Protect plan.
“No Activity”
No events have come in yet. They start appearing as your cameras detect motion or the doorbell rings. If a camera never shows events, check its motion settings in the Ring app.
