We use Google Analytics to see which pages people read and where setup goes wrong. It’s the only thing here that sets a cookie — no advertising trackers, and nothing sold to anyone.

Turn it off and we don’t load it at all — the script simply never runs.

Live view settings

Three settings in the iPhone app, under Settings → Live View.
  • Auto-Pause (default: 5 minutes). This pauses a live view on your iPhone after a set time, to save battery and data. Choose Never, 2, 5, 10 or 15 minutes. When it kicks in you’ll see Live view paused to save battery. Tap to resume.
  • Reconnect Automatically (default: on). If a stream drops, the app reconnects without asking and shows Reconnecting… while it does.
  • Start Muted (default: on). Live views open with sound off, on iPhone and watch. Turn it off to hear the camera straight away.

On the iPhone, the mute button sits on the video and fades away. Tap the video to bring it back.
